Supermercato 24 is developing and is going to launch activity in Poland very soon and we are currently looking for a Finance and Accounting Manager based in Warsaw who will join polish management team and will build a local admin department from scratch

What you will do:

  • Liaise with HQ Finance department about local needs and challenges. You will build and scale our local accounting and financial processes;

  • Support the Country Manager and HQ Finance department in matters of P&L, cash flow and budget control

  • Optimize the fiscal policy of the company: VAT tax knowledge, cost allocations etc

  • Be the point of contact for our regional legal and accounting firm and admin service providers and consultants

  • Be, also, a point of contact to handle and resolve customer and partner complaints regarding invoices and financial processes

  • Build and lead the finance local team

  • Assist in the invoicing process for shopper, retailers and customers

  • Get your hands dirty – when there is a problem, you will find a way to fix it


Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years experience with similar tasks - preferably in retail, consultancy/audit, startup or e-commerce sector

  • Educational background in Economics, Business, Finance or similar

  • Highly motivated in the world of start-ups and new technologies

  • Problem solver and data-driven

  • Proactive and autonomous

  • Organized and detail - oriented person

  • Advanced level in Microsoft Excel is a must

  • Fluent in Polish and English
